If you love singing but have never tried singing in a choir, what would encourage you to join us for a rehearsal? No experience? No problem! You don’t need to read music or have any formal background. We’ll provide music sheets, pair you with an experienced member, and ease you in at your own pace.
Whether you perform with us after a few months or a year, you’ll experience the joy of being part of the unique sound of a male voice choir. Many of our members describe it as life-changing:

More Than a Choir: A Community
Our choir is an award-winning, internationally recognized group. We’ve represented the UK at international festivals, recorded professionally, and performed on TV and radio. Our patron is the Lord Mayor of York, and we have partnerships with choirs in the Netherlands and Germany.
Yet, at our chior, we’re simply a community of men who love to sing together. We’re supported by a professional music team and a dedicated committee. We’re also proud to have a loyal following, many of whom have become lifelong Friends of the choir.
