We are always delighted to welcome new members. Rehearsals are held at The Citadel, Gillygate, York YO31 7EA on Monday evenings between 7.30 and 9.30pm.

 

If you'd like to try us out, have a fair voice and can sing, just turn up at one of our evening rehearsals and introduce yourself. You’ll receive a warm welcome and be asked to sit next to an experienced singer during your first few sessions. After a few weeks of familiarisation, you'll be asked if you'd like to take a voice test and, if successful, you'll be invited to join as a full member. Rehearsals invariably end with a visit to a local pub for a drink, a sandwich and a sing-song.

 

We are a friendly and supportive choir and, of course, we perform great music, so come and see for yourself.
